Awards and Medals

Chambert has received over 190 medals and praise from the most respected wine critics.

Best Malbec in the World

The story:
Back in 2007, the wine consultant Stephane Derenoncourt helped Chambert at understanding its precious terroirs. After years studying the soils and the grapes produced, a few plots stood out for their singularity and excellence. This was the beginning of the 3 single vineyards wines Chambert started producing. First release was 'Le Puits 2010' wine.

The awards:
With 'Le Puits' awarded "Best Malbec in the world" by the international wine critic Michel Bettane, many wine professionals and wine lovers started to look at Cahors and Chambert with sharper interest.
