This is the perfect every-day Chambert wine for you and your friends!
Variety: 100 % Roussanne
Vineyards: Single parcelled wine from clay-limestone soil. The vines were planted in 2004 with a density of 5000 feet/ha. Average yield is around 48 hl/ha.
Vinification: Direct press followed by settling. Slow fermentation at low temperature (<20°C) with indigenous yeast. One fourth of the wine is then aged in oak barrels for 7 months with regular stirring on its fine lees, then blended with the rest of wine aged in stainless-steel tank.
Philosophy: This is a joint project between us and a winemaker friend sharing the same philosophy of organic farming and low intervention winemaking.
Denomination: White dry wine
Tasting suggestion: Served cold, this wine can be drink with many dishes.
